The Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Łódź, Mrs Nina Ryszka-Olbrychowska, took part in a trade mission of the innovative textile and fashion industry organised by the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Region, which visited the international textile fair Texhibition Istanbul (Texhibition İstanbul Kumaş ve Tekstil Aksesuarları Fuarı), held on 9–11 September 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center.
More than 500 exhibitors from Türkiye presented their collections at Texhibition.
Together with the Consul, the mission included entrepreneurs interested in cooperation with Türkiye: Ms Natasza Dziarnowska (Euro Linum Polska), Ms Sylwia Funkowicz-Grzelczak (Fun-Pol), Ms Daria Skopińska-Pięta (ZOOKSY), Ms Aleksandra Włodarczyk (Aleksandra Włodarczyk), Mr Tomasz Mariusz Dróżdż (Texpol), Mr Dominik Pięta (Pięta), Ms Irmina Urszula Dziedzic (Elan), Ms Anita Konopska (KOREN), Mr Satinder Singh Chahal (Golden Age EU) and Ms Ewelina Weronika Dąbrowska (K i Z). The mission was also attended by Ms Renata Klimaszewska and Ms Joanna Baer of the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Region.
During their visit to the fair, the mission participants met manufacturers of woven and knitted fabrics to develop cooperation for their businesses. After an intensive day at the fair, there was also time for a dinner together and a taste of Turkish cuisine.
