On 20 October 2026, the Re_Enter Türkiye conference was held at the seat of the Łódź Special Economic Zone, dedicated to developing economic cooperation between Poland and Türkiye and to the opportunities for Polish companies to expand into the Turkish market.
The conference was opened by His Excellency Rauf Alp Denktaş — Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Poland, Ms Nina Ryszka-Olbrychowska — Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Łódź, Mr Marek Mazur — First Deputy Voivode of Łódź, Mr Tomasz Sadzyński — President of the Management Board of the Łódź Special Economic Zone, and Mr Michał Sobczak — Vice-President of the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
The invited guests also included Ms Ewa Gładysz — Deputy Head of the Łódź East County, Ms Zofia Sójka — Member of the Łódź East County Board, and Mr Mateusz Kamiński — Mayor of Rzgów. The meeting was also attended by representatives of UID Poland, including Mr Halil Gürbüz — President of the Board of UID Poland, as well as representatives of public administration, business support institutions, experts and entrepreneurs.
The event was jointly organised by the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Łódź, the Łódź Special Economic Zone and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
The conference discussed the potential of the Turkish market, opportunities for export growth and the practical aspects of doing business in Türkiye. The meeting was also an opportunity to share experiences and make new business contacts.
